I would like to introduce you to Cole Planinz, an Army veteran who is an inspiration to our residents at Plaza Mac Ortiz. When Cole first came to us, he had lost his home, was struggling financially, and was living on the streets. Cole was able to get the support he needed from the VA and PATH, who helped him get back on his feet and find a place to live at Plaza Mac Ortiz. Cole moved in during October of 2022 and since then, he has been working incredibly hard to rebuild his life. He began taking online college courses and has found a full-time job. He has also been a model resident here and has been eager to share any new information with his neighbors in an effort to motivate them and push them to be successful. Cole has been an active member of the Plaza Mac Ortiz community and has found ways to give back to the people who have helped him along his journey. He has volunteered at our local food bank and has helped to organize community events. Cole's story is a testament to the human spirit and a reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope for a better future. Cole is an inspiration to all of us here at Plaza Mac Ortiz, and I know he is going to keep accomplishing amazing things.
